I have 5 Millie Hens and 1 Roo and 2 Chochin hens and 1 roo and one Porcelain d Uccle Bantam roo i wanted to give him away but my dd wanted to keep him hoping to find him a girl. They are all in the same pen for the winter due to it gets cold up here in the north. My ? is do the breed with their own kind or will they breed with each other. I dont want a mix. I do plan on seperating them for a month before i collect the eggs to hatch in the bator.

No they'll breed with whomever...roosters don't discriminate...lol.
Mine aren't doing much mating this time of year, but if you separate them out for a month before you start breeding for purebreds, you'll be in the clear.

That is what i thought But was not sure. I want to hatch out the banty chochins, my roo is red and the hens are black and buff. Im anxious to see what color they will be. I have not decided yet if i will hatch any Millies i ended up with alot last year and had a hard time getting rid of them. My Millie hen is a d Uccle and the roo is a oeg millie. thanks again for the info.
