Breeding

Hi all,
We bought two geese at the local feed store this spring. Found out they are Toulousse(sp?). Anyway, I think we got a male and a female. Not sure if they are siblings or not but likely considering there were only 4 to start with and from the same breeder.
Can these two breed or rather should they breed? They have been together since 4 days old or so.

Breeding between siblings tends to be less problematic between birds than between mammals. So depending on how much inbreeding had been done in their line before, it wouldn't necessarily result in health problems. Although if you decide you don't want them to hatch offspring, come breeding season next spring you could either collect the eggs laid by the goose or addle them so they wont hatch.

Thank you for replying. Not really sure about the breed either. After looking at some pics they could be African or Chinese. Will try to post some pics.
