Hi everyone! I have 15 pullets and 2 cockerals (it was supposed to be 17 pullets, but you get what you get lol) and I am unsure of the breeds. I know what breed 8 of them are, but the rest of them I am unsure of. Thankyou so much! (I also have one australorp cockeral who is favoring and laghorn pullet. I don't know why, does anyone have an answer? I thought maybe just because she might be maturing faster but idk)

Names to pictures if it helps:
1(blue and orange fluffy one): muffin
2(brown and red): penny
3(white, gray and orange) Nugget
4(all black, green shine) baby
5(black with orange head) dixy
6(black with green shine with orange) Ember (cockeral)

The first and third one are Easter Eggers. The second one is maybe a welsummer or something? Don't know about the rest.

I thought they looked like Easter Eggers, but I wasn't sure since we didn't order any! Do you think they could be Americanas?
If the hatchery called them Americanas, they are probably Easter Eggers.

There is a breed called Ameraucana (note the slightly different spelling), but most Easter Eggers do not properly fit the description of that breed. They are usually not the "right" colors, and may also have other differences.

Most Easter Eggers are nice chickens to have in a backyard flock. You only need true Ameraucanas if you want to enter them in a chicken show, or if you really care about them having that specific appearance.

If you ordered specific breeds, it helps if you list them for us.
Matching chickens to a list is usually much easier than trying to think of all possible breeds ;)
