Breeds and sex

Was told the Silkie was a buff. About 6wks now. Just starting to fluff out.
The

Sussex is about 7wks old. No greenish tint to feathers and comb is still small and light. Hen?

The Sussex is looking like a pullet so far, but you're not out of the woods yet.

The Silkie could be a hatchery buff, but those black markings on the wings aren't right. Should be pure buff with no other colors, but it is pretty. Too early to sex silkies, but watch the comb.

You will get the final colour when they are older, these are just the first feathers

The speckled sussex doesn't scream cockerel yet, and silkies are hard and not in my wheelhouse.
