Now I am going to answer my own post
DOMINICKERS excellent foragers they go thru 3 pounds of feed in a week. They are reliable layers, they have laid thru cold weather this week. Laid alot on the day it was 30s out and they free ranged that day. Plus they are pretty running around.
RHODE ISLAND RED the ones I had were excellent layers. I will probably add more hens next year.
