Hello Everyone!

So I am fairly new to chickens but I am loving them so far. The hen seems to be doing well and just started laying again yesterday but I am trying to figure out what type of chickens I have and if they are roos or not. First pic is the hen that adopted them. Ill get some better pics of the chicks but I believe the 2 whites are light Brahmas and the 2 darker ones are similar to momma or buffs maybe? Thank you for all the time and love the forums!

Need some full body shots. Are there feathers on the legs of any? The last one looks to have a crest. Is that correct?

This is my light brahma at 9 10 weeks. If they look anything like this one then you have a light brahma.

Light Sussex and Columbian wyandotte have those markings as well as Delaware. I would ask for more details.

This shot you can see they have feathered feet in. This is my light and my dark brahma having a chat.

This is my old lady that is a Delaware. Notice that you cannot see the feet in this pic so breed id becomes more difficult.
(Yes the comb is a dead giveaway with her)

Below you can see she has no feathers on the feet.

I tried to post my facebook video but it wouldn't work so I will try to get some full body pictures tonight, I am not too happy as when they were chicks it was a bit hard to tell being new to it all and I paid $70 for what were supposed to be light brahmas and I took the hen because she was broody and took to the chicks well. They all have feathers on their feet also so there is definitely something wrong then and I for sure got ripped off so I will ahve to wait until next month to get more and try to get rid of the other 2 as I will have a rooster and dont want to cross them, or should I start all over considering the 2 lights may be crossed as well?

Thank you for all the responses and time!

If they all have feathered feet then you got some mixed birds. I would like to see the pics when you get them posted. I think you may have a light and a buff brahma. Mama is not colored correctly to be a buff brahma. I will look for the pic of Sandy my buff.

Looks like I need to get the camera out and get some of Sandy. She has black feathering on the neck and in the tail.

Feathering on the feet is a Brahma thing for sure. NOW there are many colors of Brahma out there. There is a thread on here with nice folks that may have more knowledge of the different colors out there.
