Between a NHR and RIR I would say amber is more like my RIR Charlotte then my NHR, Shirley. They're generally a darker shade.Could also be a production red as mentioned

i would like to mention one thing and ill update the post to say this to when they were little or still in the egg i don't have pics but they all came from brown eggs except amber she came from a brown speckled egg when lacy was little she was all black with a little white mustache amber was light brown with dark brown stripes and whitney was of course yellow

so when I first got my hens my teacher hatched from his random flock of mixed birds I posted for breed and gender, this is an update now that they are older they all lay brown eggs light and dark, they did all come from brown eggs but amber came from a speckled egg, when they were very little whitney was yellow lacy was all black with a little white mustache and amber was light brown with dark brown stripes

Amber - I would say RIR mix(I would say sexlink, RIR, or NH)

Im not sure, i think that they would be kinda like this(my cinnamon queen , aka red sexlink looked like this) the brown and white one in the front, i thought i had different pictures.

so i was doing some reasearch after people kept saying lacy was a black sex link, I'm very convinced she is!

and I've been debating if there is any way we mistook another bird for amber but looking back that doesn't seem possible
