Breeds?

I have a few breeds of chickens and wondering if there are any other suggestions. I have red pullets, domineckers, Americana, white leghorns, Cornish rocks, black astrolorps, ducks ,guineas, and so straight runs wondering if anybody knows of any breeds that lay good eggs have good chicks and also protect themselves. I don't want any show chickens.

i think you posted this in the wrong place but australorps are good .. they are pure black good mothers pretty good at going broody and im pretty sure they can protect there selves but what do you mean protect their self from what ??

I have heard game chickens are good chickens to protect themselves but I don't know if they lay good or have any good chicks.

I am not talking about the modern game chickens.

so like old english games ?? i have a old english game bantam he is pretty nice looking but his hen died young so i don't know if they lay good but they are sorta flighty his hen when she was alive a cat attacked her and she flew across my yard so they can fly some pretty fair

but those are more aggressive but they are good mothers and they are good protectors so maybe but you would have to be care full with those birds but i guess they are really good mothers to
