x3 lol im pretty sure that's a rooster and not a hen because that looks more manly then one of my roosters lol

I agree, that white looks like a cockerel. It's even growing roo sized spurs although some hens do grow spurs. But it has too many features of a young cockerel. Did you see the sussex breeding it or just wing stomping at it?

I didn't see any actual breeding but it was so hot I didn't stick around. The guy I bought it from said they were all over a year old. But I don't know for sure.

Turns out that either it is a hen gone rooster or the guy who sold him to me is very crazy. It is running loose and has started crowing now.

I think it's been a rooster all along. It sure looked like one all along!
