your trying to get me thrown out aren't you?? lol.In my bathroom tub
Our feed store just ran out. I was dreading it! I can't wait till they start getting it in again!!! I think I have enough to last another one and a half months. :/I did fodder all last winter...as a supplement...they all loved it..I just ordered my wheat seeds to start again!
How do you grow it when its so cold? I gave up, even in california we are under freezing every night right now..
I apologize for butting in, but wanted to share the system I have set up to grow fodder indoors in buckets in hopes that it will help others do something similar.
Original video I got my inspiration from:

And a couple pictures of how I have mine set up indoors:

I am using locally grown barley, but may decide to switch it up a bit and add some wheat and BOSS at some point. I am finding that the sprouts seem to grow just as well if I leave the buckets stacked, so if someone has even less floor space this could still be done using just one drain bucket at the bottom of the stack.
Will anyone be offering eggs/chicks this spring in the Northeast?
I use buckets but it's been freezing here and it's cold inside too! Might start anyway it's painful on the feed bills.
I'll have some available. I'm not sure Indiana is as close as you were hoping, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Will anyone be offering eggs/chicks this spring in the Northeast?
