Brewer's Yeast from local Brewers?

I read on here somewhere someone was giving their ducks brewers yeast from local brewers....Is this possible? If so, what is the quantity? I would like to know details! We have a local brewer that will give us their discard. I just want to know if it is worth getting it.

Would love to try this, I have a local brewer close to me, how much do they need?

Not sure since we don't know the niacin content of these spent grains. they need 100-125 mgs of niacin a day till at lest 10 weeks old. I still give my adults Nutritional yeast over their feed 2X a week just because it's good for them.
