Curled toes on a young chicken often means they have a Vitamin B2 deficiency, but I'm not sure about older hens.

I would recommend feeding any milk product, such as unflavored yogurt, or straight milk. This probably won't fix the toes, but she hopefully won't continue to worsen.

No new birds. She's about 7 years. We took her to a vet who didn't know if it was something internal or an injury but no apparent wounds.
7 is quite old. :(
My guess would be to try daily vitamins but I don't think that's really going to help.
