bring him in or not? (bullying)

As much as everyone tells me that quail are social animals and don't like being alone, I've found that the "rescued" ones don't seem to mind. I also have one hen that wants it "her way," all the time. Sharing isn't in her DNA. She'd like her own pad if it was an option.

Your indoor quail will be fine alone at least for a few weeks until he gets bored. The outdoor pen will be more peaceful. Welcome to the fun world of quail kindergarten.

Even in just the half hour hes been inside hes just conked out, hes doing the snuggly muttering thing and is all fluffed up. A happy boy. Hes spent so much time hiding in the corner by himself your right he probably not going to mind being alone.
