bringing home 3 month pullets!

alright. I plan on putting pine shavings in the crate and a tarp underneath

I used a dog crate for my 4 pullet age chickens for vet trip transports. I might suggest newspaper for bottom and put a little up the side. I used pine mulch over doggie pee pad and they kicked the mulch out everywhere. Wouldn’t use mulch. A box with netting over top is ok too if have free available. Usually have to bring own for pick ups.

How exciting! :frow I feed Flock Raiser to all my birds. They shouldn’t have any poblem with the transition of food. I agree with @HuskerHens18 and suggest putting Sav-A-Chick or Nutri-Drench in their wAter. Changing homes can be very stressful!
Good luck with your new pullets!!!!!

Love all the sav-A-chic electrolyte suggestions. I did as well once a week for this age group and rest fresh water and should do fine. How fun! You will have eggs soon!
