Bringing home chickens!

I picked up my first two chickens this afternoon! A hen and a rooster--silkies! The rooster is really pretty and I plan on showing them. I'm just so excited! I have the rooster sleeping on my lap right now... he is so cute and they are both really docile! So anyways, what do judges look for in chickens?

I'll post some pics eventually, I left my camera in my moms car.

find the silkie standard and over look how close yours is to it, Of course i hear if you were to show in a fair show.. it'd pretty much be whatever they liked best
