Hey all,

don't know if you all saw the web specials right now over at Brinsea.com..but right now you can pick up a Brinsea Eco 20 with auto turn cradle for $150.00..you can't beat that price with a stick! I've seen most of those styrofoam LG's and Hova's for at least that much from places.bought the LG forced air unit last year, and it was sadly inadequate. I can't wait for my new Brinsea to arrive.

Anyway..just thought I'd pass the info along.

I just hatched 17 of 18 Australopes in mine. No problems with room. I havent adjusted the thermo since I bought it last year. I fill the water levels once a week and just wait for the chicks to pop out.

That's good to know. I think if I didn't have a staggered hatch going right now, I'd have left the BCM eggs in the octagon. My home made 'bator is now holding steady now that I changed the bulb. I hope I get at least a few hatched out of these eggs!

My humidity is at 62%-

my first hatch of quail had a p-poor hatch rate in my brinsea 20eco with auto turn. I followed manu's directions with only 1 h2o trough 2/3 full for first 15 days. Vent 2/3 closed. Cheap hygrometer read 30% humidity. Any body use different water amounts???.....was this most likely my problem?? thanks

I just got mine in Monday and put it together last night. It looks like it's going to work like a charm! Knock on wood... this is my first time incubating so it should be interesting.

Anyone have any tips? I will definitely let you know how mine works out
