So... I just picked up a new open box Brinsea Maxi II eco on ebay for under $100! WOOT WOOT
Anyways... I'm looking just cause I'm like that... It appears as though it should have the mount for the auto turning motor in the lid and just needs to have 3 pieces installed to make it an autoturner...
Brinsea sells the motor for $19.99, the gear to connect to the disk for $5.99 and then the disk is available all over for about $25...
So my question, has anyone ever done this? Should be as simple as connecting 2 wires on the motor to the control unit, and mounting motor and gear.
Anyways. if anyone has tried and succeeded... please let me know what you did.
After I give it a test incubation, I'll probably get the parts to try and do it myself and see how it goes.
