does anyone know what it means when the red light on an ecoglow 20 flickers on and off? the unit no longer warms up.....im guessing its broke.
any idea what the light flashing may mean? could it be fixable?

I got out my user instructions. I forgot how limited they were. They don't even mention a blinking light. Went to the Brinsea website, but all the FAQs I could find were about their incubators. So, I'm sorry I'm no help. Try contacting their customer service.

Maybe it is a thermostat warning light? Just guessing. Telling you there is a problem with the thermostat?
Maybe?

Hi,

Mine stopped working too ! It heats up then the red light starts flashing and the unit becomes cold .. I thought it was something to do with the connector between the wires to the plug .. Did you find out what was causing it ? Thanks so much

I know this is an old post, however this has just started happening to me with my Brinsea Ecoglow 20's.
I have two and had inadvertently swapped the power supply cords around. It shouldn't make a difference unless the newer unit has a slightly different power requirement.
But problem solved.
