I`m in the UK

But I really want to move to Saarland or Eifel in Germany but the Harz would be ok too lol

You could always build your own incubator there are many plans about and it is not too difficult.

I have a mini advance. It only holds seven eggs but I'm using it for my replacements so that's about all I need anyway. Just got finished with my first set of eggs. One egg was clear after 14 days so I popped it open and it never started developing. The other six hatched yesterday and today. It does get a little cramped in there but most bators do. Once they all hatched out I pulled the shells out and had to put a popsicle stick under the lid to help lower the humidity because the chicks were taking a long time to dry off. Even with the edge propped open it help temp well. I'll probably get a bigger incubator but for important eggs the brinsea will get them.

I have the eco 20, I love it! Its everything I wanted, I did have to adjust the temp, as the thermometer that came with it was not accurate. Very easy to do.

Eventually we also want to move to Germany. I've lived there as a little girl but I really mis it.
A little farmhouse with a bit of land very small but just enough for some small farm animals that's my dream.

I am terrible in building things so today I bought the brinsea mini advanced, now I'm waiting for it's delivering.

I love the eco 20 as well! It holds temps perfectly, is a breeze to clean and it is not styrofoam so it will last (in my house especially!) a long time!

Having said that it is not the ideal hatcher (its a little too tight in there if all your eggs make it to lockdown and keeping humidity up is kind of tricky)... But I hatch in it anyway

I have the octagon 40. I believe I got it in 2002. That would make it 8 years old. Still works great. It holds the temp perfectly from 37.4-37.6.

well, mine came on Monday and I absolutely LOVE it. I still have eggs in the other bator that I have to turn but I am tempted to buy a second eco 20....

I have the eco 20 and the advanced. I love them. they hold temps great. I had trouble getting humidity up for hatch, but a damp paper towel that's partly in the troughs wicks the water up and allows it to evaporate and increase humidity. It is crowded during hatch and I've bought an LG to hatch in which I hope to use when my next hatch is due.

1. holds temp
2. auto cradle rocks the whole incubator so it you can have different sized eggs in it easily and no damage to eggs
3. very easy to clean
4. small size bad for hatching, but makes it fit just about anywhere
5. clear lid gives great visability during hatch
