I'm not sure I'm keen on the idea of using just a bottle for the water reservoir :/ I think I would have to get something more substantial than that.
Is your pump super loud Kelly? I don't think mine is too bad really and can't say I notice it. You would think with the pump being built in the new model it must be quieter.

It doesn't bother me, but it bothers my husband. I keep telling him that if he doesn't want to listen to it, then put a wall outlet by my counter in the laundry room. Then I can close the door, and he won't hear it. MUCH cheaper route than buying a new incubator.

For you probably. Here at the University, Electrical shop charges $900.00 to put in an electrical socket.
