Hi, I have about had it with my Little Giant. I have to baby sit it constantly. I have it set up in a closet where there is no draft. I've tried in various rooms at various times of the year, and it fluctuates like crazy. I was thinking of getting Brinsea, but the reviews are terrible. I just started eggs 4 days ago, and have a prime account, so I could have it here by Wed. What do you think? I don't have a budget for much more money than this.

I agree with you about the Little Giant! That's why I now have 2 Hovabators.
If the reviews are terrible then believe them! Bite the bullet and buy one that you can depend on.

I have a Brinsea mini Advance. I love it. I get amazingly wonderful hatches with it, and don't have to babysit it AT ALL.

I have two farm innovators forced air incubators, and just got done with hatches from both. I am ready to set both on fire. It was awful. Constantly spiking temperatures, iffy fan work. I put all the eggs in at the same time, and had them in a turner. But when I candled for lockdown, some eggs were obviously behind the others, which indicates to me that air flow wasn't great. I swore never again. I'll keep them on hand in case there's an emergency, but it was terrible.

I want to get another brinsea or two.

The one you linked isn't as great, but it's better than the foam incubators.

Spend the extra money and get the automatic turner. It is awesome. Only downside is that you can only hatch 7 at a time. On the upside, you can't hatch too many at a time either.
