Brinsea Maxi ll

I have a new brinsea max ll that i recieved a couple weeks ago. I started it up yesterday for a test run. The fan motor seems really loud compaired to other forced fan incubators i have used. I can hear the fan running when in the other end of the house. Does anyone have one of these and how does it sound? I was wondering if it is something i should be concerned with.

I have the same one and mine is brand new. Mine is pretty loud too. My only complaint is it does not hold humidity well.

I have a brand new Brinsea Ovation. You know when a PC starts getting hot and the fan comes on and hums, well it’s about the same volume as that. I can hear it downstairs in the room below but that’s because of the vibration through the hard surfaces. If it’s picked up I can’t hear it running in the room below.

Their aftercare is second to none. I like them even more since I had a call from them Friday saying they are sending me a £15 feed voucher for leaving a review on their website!
