I just received an Octagon 20 as an early Christmas present! This Octagon 10 with turning cradle is in PERFECT condition. I have used it to incubate chicken to parrot eggs and even to keep dachshund puppies warm that were born prematurely. I have some lovely memories connected with this incubaor. It looks like new (i am a fanatic about keeping my incubating equipment clean) and both incubator and turner work perfectly! If you are looking for the perfect Christmas present for your friends and family that are hatching "eggaholics" well here it is! Shipping is $12.50 which will include insurance for the package. You are also welcome to come and pick it up at my home here in Louisville Kentucky! Slainte' Ruth

Regular sized eggs around 9-10, Bantam 10-14. Ruth

p.s. it really depends on size and shape of eggs

I do have a good hatching rate ... however ... once again i am a fanatic about monitoring humidity and temperature and sterility of the incubator before any eggs go into it. I place mine in our basement where the ambient temperature stays stable around 59 degrees. Besides chicken eggs i have hatched gouldian finch, pionus and button quail eggs all with good results. LOL! I should have taken it to the "Antiques Road Show"! Ruth
