Just an update on the Brinsea I bought August 2015. My first couple hatches were with shipped eggs, and the hatch was terrible. Since then, I've done several more rounds with my own eggs, and always get 90-100% hatch rate. So yes, I believe it was worth the money. I have since upgraded to a GQF Sportsman 1502 cabinet, but I still use the Brinsea for more delicate eggs. One thing though, a week ago the turning crank that attaches to the motor broke clear off. My husband did a temporary fix, but I'm going to have to get another turning cradle soon. I've only incubated chicken and quail eggs, so it's not like anything too heavy was in there. Ughhhh.. I have a love/hate relationship with my Brinsea I guess.

So far up to 35 hatched out of 45 that made it to lock down. There are 4 or 5 more that are pipped. So far it's looking good.
