Brinsea Octagon Eco 20: Does it come apart?

It has been 3 years since I hatched and don't remember if the bottom part of the Brinsea Eco 20 comes apart? I mean the complete yellow part, does it come apart? I see a crack going all around it, but don't remember and lost my manuals in the move.

Also, it's very dusty and has been packed away with all of our farm stuff. Would it be safe to wash it with clorox or will that hurt my eggs? What do you wash it with?

Thank you. The kids and I are so excited! My son (9) remembers us hatching before and having chickens, but my two little ones (4 & 2) don't so you can imagine how excited they are.

So true. I had forgotten how much I enjoy it. My son picked a Cuckoo Maran because he fell in love with the feathering, and I am thinking a Buff Orpington and an Ameraucana. If my husband agrees to one more (we started stating we were only getting 2), I will get an Olive Egger. For our hatching we

ooops. Sorry. What I was trying to type is: For our hatching so far we have a dozen Cuckoo Marans and a dozen Ameraucanas on the way. I am going to get chicks or pullets for the Orpington.
