Sponsored Post Brinsea Products, the Incubation Specialists, celebrate 40 years of innovation with 12 new incubator

If I had to do it all over again. . I'd build my own..
There are lots of threads on here that help with that..
I have 3 styrofoam incubators.. and have since took out all cheap china parts out.. basically kept the shell and turner..
I use the stc 1000 temp controller. . Light bulbs for heat..
The temps are soo much more reliable now..
This option may not work for you if your not handy..
But definitely a much cheaper option.

I have been lucky and found both of my Brinsea octagons used. One was only used once, in a classroom to hatch ducklings. It's the Advance EX with humidity pump. Found it on Craigslist. The second is older and not the Advance, but it's a Brinsea! So I trusted buying used. Not at all disappointed. I found it on Facebook.
The teacher retired, so she was selling hers, and the FB person moved up to a cabinet, so I would recommend looking everywhere! Some folks are crazy enough to part with them! :D

Even the Eco models are super easy to use, I have had no problems with mine. All hatched have been over 90% successful, these new ones are cool because the turner is built in, I bought a turner separately and still my whole setup paid for itself within 6 months of owning it. If you're worried about the price just plan to hatch a certain number of chicks strictly to sell, it quickly becomes a asset to even a homestead.

From a Eco Octagon to under the brinsea chick brooder (the 50 chick size).
Never had a fire or any over heated chicks with their brooder.
