Okay, my choices for an incubator are down to two, brinsea octagon and Genesis hovabator. The Genesis is cheaper and holds more eggs but the brinsea just looks so much more...sturdy. The hobabator is styro-foam for instance while the brinsea is hard plastic. On the other hand, cheaper and bigger is the Genesis. Any advice? Anyone?

I have never used the hovabator but I do have the brinsea eco 20 with the cradle......fool proof is all i can say I love it!! I fill up one well the first 18 days and fill up both wells and take off of the cradle for lock down...I had a little giant prior to this one and the brinsea is way better is all I can tell ya

Thanks! I think we will go with the brinsea. It seems so sturdy. And although the hovobator has a larger capacity, if it doesn't hatch well than it's just more spoiled eggs...
