trying t o find info on selling broilers in NYS. i am looking at custom slaughter(or on-farm) and probably 500-900 birds/year but i cannot find info on what kind of processing house i need or if i can just build a whizbang and do it in a clean shed etc. right now i am driving 25 min. one way and paying 2.25/bird for processing,,anyone in NY could help?
