Broke beak

My husband noticed that one of my 10 week old Barr Rock Hens has some how split open/ broke the top of her beak. She is acting fine. Seems to be eating and drinking fine but my last batch of chickens didn't have any injuries. Any I need to do anything different? She is not easy to catch and I don't really have anywhere to quartine her. Over all my chickens get along so I don't think she is being picked on.

As long as shes eating and drinking fine she will be okay and if there's no signs of blood. I had a hen that chipped her break off too, it doesn't grow back. To prevent anymore beak chips, check your flock regularly for signs of cracking beaks, and try not to feed them on the sidewalk/concrete. That's really all you can do, the rest is up to them and sadly, their` beaks don't grow back.
