so was candling and one of the eggs had a air cell at the bottom side. It’s close to the bottom but no quite there. These eggs are on their side. The chick is developing well but it is right beside the air cell. What do i do?!?

this is not my picture but this is about what it looks like and there is a embryo above it. Also i forgot to add, they are on day 7

I had one this most recent hatch that made it to lockdown. I set it aircell up from day 1, which i think was the wrong thing to do. It was terribly malpositioned. I assisted 100% even made an internal pip for it. The yolk was fully absorbed when it did eventually come out. It died in the incubator within a few hours.

The only thing i can suggest is for the first 18 days incubate as normal and hope it pips directly to the shell. I've had lots do that and hatch perfectly fine on their own, though not with the air cell in the wrong place.

Hopefully yours turns out better than mine did.

I dont know if that is the same as a saddle air cell, more to the side
I have had a few like that, I put them in egg cartons in the incubator point side down until a a couple days before lock down
I had a successful hatch from them

I wish you luck
