Howdy all,

I had a bird sustain a broken beak yesterday. I immediately segregated her to my "old" coop for the time being where she's not outside because she can still squeeze through the poultry netting electric fence(thought she was too big but she surprised me). But my old coop is 24 sqft which by herself is plenty.

But what im curious about is does anyone have any tips or tricks to speed up the healing process? I hate the fact I had to separate her from her brood mates and it seems as if her brood mates should start to mingle with the rest of the flock here soon.

In the end I want her to get back to the flock as quick as possible. The bleeding stopped and she looks comfortable and not stressed even without being outside but she seems fine at the moment.

*side note she's about 10 weeks old.

Picture? Depending on how badly it is broken, now that it has stopped bleeding, I would put her back with the others so she isn't isolated and so she doesn't have to reintegrate.

This is the best photo I could get lol she wouldn't hold still. Leg looks good where the small cut was so im least concerned about that.
