Broken beak or something else?!

This is my first time with chickens. This chick here is about 6 weeks old. Today when I went to go feed I noticed her beak looked odd. Looking at it, it's almost as if she's "molting" her beak. Is this a broken beak? Or a common injury with chickens? Will it affect her eating? She seems to be eating fine. I let them free range Durring the day so maybe she did something? Or another chick did it?

it looks broken I have never had a chicken break there beak but I imagine you need to bandage it
