Our chicken Henny Penny has a broken beak and we don’t know what to do! She will not eat meal worms or grapes which are both her favorite foods and she will only gently peck at them. The only thing she will eat is yogurt and she won’t touch the mashed up feed. She seems to be in pain but we don’t know how to help her. The white stuff on her beak is dried yogurt.

How long has she been like that. Sometimes it takes a day or so for them to get over it and go back to normal

When I was little I had a hen named Henny Penny ;-) I have a young Buff Orpington now with a "Scissor Beak". Not broken but the bottom goes out to the right at almost a 90 degree angle. She, too, can't eat regular food nor any treats. I soak her crumbles in water and stir till they are a sort of slurry-Much wetter than mashed potato-Then I stir in a blob of canned dog food. She LOVES this. I also soak raisins in water till they are soft. I give the raisins to the other girls and add the raisin water to Beakie's dish. She seems to be thriving but it breaks my heart when everyone else is scrabbling around for meal worms and raisins and she just watches! I do have to wash and dry her chest occasionally and trim her beak. I'm guessing your HP's beak will grow back soon-They grow like fingernails/claws so find some foods she can eat and wait it out. I'm going to offer Beakie some yogurt! Thanks for that idea.

I would continue offering the feed mixed with water to make it softer. Raise the dish up so she can scoop more with the bottom beak. Picking things up from ground level is more difficult. A break like that can be very painful for a few days. It will dry up and harden and then will be much less painful. As long as the quick is not too damaged it will grow back, but it can be a slow process and take a while.
