I have one Welsummer that broke it foot about 2 weeks ago. Now I notice the second Welsummer has the same problem. Are Welsummer prone to foot problems? There is no signs of injury other than the limping. I first thought it was bumble foot but no sores. They seem to be healthy and are laying every day. Both birds are 8 months old and the rest of the flock have never had a problem. This one has me puzzled. Has anyone else ever experienced this kind of thing? This is now my 3rd year at raising chickens and never a health issue before.
