Broken Breyer horse-Need repair ideas

I love breyer horses and I am glad to have this advice!

The ones I tried repairing with all manner and types of glues never held up long term, especially if she will continue to play with her horse. I'd seriously consider adding this step to your repair process.

My DD has my collection of Breyers from my childhood, plus she has new ones. I have found the new ones seem to break much easier than the older ones. The ones she has broke we have repaired with super glue then they go to "pasture" (up on her shelf). She has learned to be more careful with them now. Putting a pin in the leg to repair is an awesome idea,..I will remember that next time.
