Broken egg exposed outer membrane.

Ok, so I had butter fingers and dropped one of my eggs 2 days before it was due to hatch. A large portion of the shell was broke off leaving the outer membrane exposed. Yesterday was it's hatch day but it still hasn't. I know the baby is still alive because I can see the membrane moving. Should I just try to keep the membrane as moist as possible or is there something else I should be doing? Thanks in advance for the help.
