I am not a happy camper at the moment!

Just received eggs today in an egg carton with NO padding between the egg carton and the side of the box. About 1/3 of the eggs are a gooy mess. The mess is on some/most of the other eggs.

My question is ... is it better to wash off the egg goo off the good eggs or leave the egg goo on and incubate as is??

Never had this problem before so have no idea which would be better.

Thank for any thoughts

When this happened to my eggs, I washed the goo off the unbroken eggs and had some hatch. Good Luck!

It's better to wash the goo off and go ahead and see if any will hatch. That stinks!! I'd contact the seller and let them know....

Thank you for the info!!

I am absolutely amazed! This is from a very experience breeder. I never expected this from him!

I have emailed him.

Perhaps he had some very experienced person pack and send..

Don't know.. but I am amazed!!
