Broken Foot!

I came home today and found a 3 and a half week duckling with its leg in beetween the two pond and soaking wet. its foot looks broken and is limping alot i put it in the incubator as i dont have a brooder until it dried and then put it back with the other when it was peeping and getting up alot. its been drinking and eatting, what are the thoughts about what i should do? Plzz help.
 
Get some stiff tubing from the hardware store. They will look funny when you only need 1/2 foot of it. LOL Connect both tupes with some duct tape on the ends only, not leaving any sticky stuff exposed. The distance between the tubes should be the distance from one side to the other side of the foot. This will alow the joint of the leg to move slightly. Put around the leg and use some Vetrap to secure it. You may go less elaborate, if the joint is not involved. Here you can use the ice cream popsical sticks on each side and again secure it with Vetrap. Vetrap is made by 3M and can be purchased at feed stores or vets. The human version is called Coban and can be found at Walmart or pharmacies at a slight higher cost.
