broken leg suspected

I've had broody hens that when you lift them off the nest and put them down elsewhere, they just stay where you put them, others race back to their nest and get very stressed if they can't get back to it. But if you are familiar with broody behaviour, then I'm sure you are able to rule that option out.
Have you tried tempting her with some scrambled eggs?
What does her body condition feel like? Checking her breast area is the best way to assess this. Does her breast bone feel sharp or reasonably well padded? If she has lost weight and is not actively eating, she may benefit from a heat source like a heat pad.
It might be worth checking her crop to make sure she is not impacted. Checking it at night and then first thing in the morning before she has access to food to make sure it is emptying properly.
Have you had her long? Have you added any new birds in the past few months?

I'm happy to report my hen is upright and walking, showing some interest in food. Poop is normal. The only abnormality I could see was a possible swollen ankle. Keeping fingers crossed and will let you know when she's back with the crew.

Happy to report the hen has been reunited with her sisters. Seems she had a sprain of sorts that has resolved itself. I'm so thankful it turned out this way as I'd already lost two birds since starting to raise hens again almost two years ago and really wasn't looking forward to a third. Thanks to all for your concern and kind comments.
