Hey BYC family, I went to let the chickens out in the morning a couple days ago and I noticed that one of my recently laying pullets, Brim, was unable to get over the ledge of the coop and down the ramp. I took her out and let her walk a bit and she was limping in her left leg. I took a look at it and felt it. There was no blood and I couldn't feel any broken bones (though I'm no expert). The coop was locked up so it couldn't have been a attack so I'm guessing she fell of a roost or got trampled by the other hens or something.

I put her in our brooder with food and water where she has been for about three days and take her out in the yard sometimes if I can watch her. We have had a hen with a broken ankle before and it healed fine after a while. Brim is eating and drinking fine and her poops look normal but when she walks around she pants hard even when it's not even hot. Could this be from pain?

Any help or ideas how to treat my hen would be much appreciated!
I can post pictures of her current state if necessary
