broken leg??

cut a piece out of a plastic dish like butter dish or something to fit his leg. Take either tape or coban and wrap his leg to immobilize it and it still get around. You have to get the leg to stay set for it to heal.

One of my chicks broke it's leg during transit. After a few vet visit with the chick AND x-rays, both vets felt it would be less traumatic to leave the leg alone. It will be deformed but you lose the chance to reset a leg after only a few hours an even then if you're not a vet and don't know what you're doing it may just cause more damage. She said that what would take a puppy 16 weeks to heal from will take a baby chick less than 10 days to heal from. Their little bodies are so amazing. So I had my little lady on pain meds for a few days and now she looks odd but it has not affected her health. She doesn't run around like the others all of the time, but I I throw a raspberry in the brooder you better believe she plays a sick game of keep away!

its bent where the fur stops and leg begins,,,, he wont put the leg down and barley walks around at all

Hm, my chicks was broken at the knee so yours may have a little hope of trying to reset. I would at least wrap the leg straight... With a Popsicle stick or wrap a straw around it and secure it tightly. Poor thing
