This could be a sprain, dislocation, or break. I lean towards dislocation because of her overall normalness. Best feel for swelling or any obvious breaks.

Did this problem suddenly happen? Could it be a leg bone deformity that has gotten worse with growth, or possibly a slipped tendon? Could you get any more pictures of her standing with he legs from the front or the back?
