Broken or mottled barring on the central rectrices lady amherst

Right under the end of the wings on their lower back.Most Amherst now adays have red where is should be yellow.

thanks Tony for the info but I think if their will come a pheasant to be extinct the lady Amherst will be the first in their pure form

Yes right at the base of the tail.That is a good looking bird.Also the teardrop from what I've been told should be blue.Most I've seen are yellow.

Just an inch of feathers should be red at the very tip,but the ones you usually see are half way up the back of the bird.
