Dose for chickens is 20-25mg per kg of body weight per day (1 lb = 2.2 kg). Some sources say to dose every 12 hours since it has a short half life once taken. I have only used the powder that mixes in water. It's usually used for respiratory infections, so again, not sure it will be effective for you in this instance. Might want to consider ordering the aqua mox to have on hand, it's useful in many situations and the pills are pretty shelf stable. That way you will have it if this doesn't really work. I don't have guinea's, just chickens.
I will tag a couple other people who may be able to help with dosing.
Can you post a picture of his foot and toe as it looks now?

like the human kind aqua mox?I would probably try to get Aqua Mox, but if doxycycline is all you can get, use the 20 mg per Kg (2.2 pounds) daily dose. Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic that is used to treat skin infections, respiratory, eye, and urinary diseases.
The end of the toe may drop off eventually. If there is no infection, or infection is taken care of he can adapt and live fine that way, birds lose toes. I would start the doxycycline and try to get some amoxicillin. You can use human stuff if you have some, or order the aqua mox fish antibiotic. Same medication, but you can get the fish meds without a prescription.
