broken toe help!!!!!

my nesting box has fenceing sticking off.A rooster got his toe stuck jumping off of the nesting box and hung there upside down for a while poor thing. he cant stand up any advice?I also found a nice sized scrape on the same foot.

Oh, poor guy! I'm not sure what to do, but I bet if you search "Broken toe" in the box on the upper right of the screen you will find some threads. Good luck!

If he can't stand are you sure it is just a broken toe??, it may be something else as I am sure he struggled quite a bit hanging there. give him a good once over just in case. If it just a toe you may be able to splint it, or I would just find some thin strong piece of plastic and tape his whole foot, he will walk around better.
