I have a chick that’s around 3 weeks old. She broke her toe recently and I tried to wrap it with cardboard but she took it off immediately even though it was helping her walk better. Any other ideas? I tried band aids but they weren’t that great. Would vet wrap work better in this situation? I only have human wrap with me right now and I could buy vet wrap if it will actually stick on her toe.
Here is a photo of how it looks now and how it used to look, in case anyone thinks it’s crooked toe.

How recent?

If not set within a day, then likely you won't be successful in splinting and it will be painful for her to try to correct the toes.

You can try if you wish, this splinting manual may help.
