Hi,

I have a hen who started limping. Checked for bumble foot and none seen. Eventually it turned into inability to walk and or use her left leg. She hops around a bit to get to food, water or shelter.

I don't know if there are any Avian vets in my area and my regular vet definitely doesn't treat birds.

I can't feel a break, and the leg just hangs there like it's dislocated at the hip joint. Can I fix this?

Sorry about your hen. Is there any way that you can post a short video of her walking to YouTube or Vimeo, and then post a link here? Do you have a picture of her standing? How old is she? Injuries are very common including sprains and broken bones. Can you see any redness, green bruising, or swelling anywhere on the leg or foot? Here is a picture of the leg bones if you can pinpoint a location of the injury:

I'm pretty sure it's at the femur head. It's dark now so pic not really available. She doesn't even stand at this point. No bruising that I can see, but her legs are dark colored. No swelling either. She's coming up on 2.

From talking to a family member who has performed it on shoulders a couple of times, reducing a dislocated joint should be done early because the longer it has gone on, it is not usually successfully done because of tissue swelling. I think a vet would be the best bet unless you want to try this on your own.
