Brood box water

I got tired of emptying shavings out of the water dish and cleaning it multiple times daily. Especially as these little velociraptors grow, it got worse!
So today I stole an idea from Guildbrook Farms (YouTube video is: beginners guide to raising backyard chickens). I made a little hardware cloth cover for a container that about 5in tall and placed the water up there. So far so good and they seem pleased with it as well!
I was worried my little runty wouldn’t be able to get up there so I have a ramp that I can put in but he was the first one I saw up there volueentarily!
This idea might be useful to others that haven’t seen said video, so here

That looks like a great set up! I’ve had mixes that looked just like that goldish one on the left. What kind is she?

They are supposed to be Easter Eggers, but when I msgd the Breeder about them she said they could be any combination of Brahma/Cochin/Bielefelder/Marans/barnsvelder/salmon faverolles.
