BROOD CHICKENS??? i need help

    Does anyone know a specific breed of chickens that are known for ALWAYS being broody? or known for there broodyness? i woul dlove to just see how the whole process works! thanks:)

    I have heard that Buff Orpingtons are really good broody hens. I bought some last year so hopefully I will have a broody hen.

    I believe it depends on the individual chicken, too. Even though BO's are known to be broody, mine has never shown an interest and has even taken a "vacation" from laying for 2-3 weeks now. [​IMG]
