As a custom home builder, I knew I could build a low maint. pen to raise chicks safely, without having to clean out and replenish the water and feed daily. This brooder looks good and works extremely well. My Wife and I can actually go away for several days without our pullets running out of feed or water.
For you do it yourselfers, I tried to detail the construction so you could build a similar set up if you want to. The feeder and Water system work well for adult hens also.
